Size Matters

Every set is handcrafted to order.

That means there’s no “one-size-fits-all” template—your finished set will be built on the nail sizes you supply. 

There are two ways to determine your nails size: Order a sizing kit for a no-guess, try-them-on experience, or measure them at home with a soft tape/tape-and-ruler and skip the wait. 

Once you know your nail size or measurement, refer to the sizing chart below to determine your Inspired Nails standard size (XS,S,M,L) or custom size, and select that option at checkout.

Measuring your nails at home is a great way to determine your size if you’re in a rush or don’t want to purchase a sizing kit.

Nails are measured in millimeters for the most accurate sizing. Follow the steps below to ensure a perfect fit.

How It Works

  1. Measure your nails using Method 1 (tape & ruler) or Method 2 (soft measuring tape) below.
  2. Write down your nail measurements in millimeters for each finger on both hands.
  3. Match each measurement to the sizing chart to determine your set size.

Method 1: Tape & Ruler

You’ll need: clear tape, a fine-tip pen, and a ruler marked in millimeters.

  1. Place the tape across the widest part of the nail.
  2. Mark the exact left and right edges of your nail bed with the pen.
  3. Peel off the tape, lay it flat against the ruler, and record the distance in millimeters.
  4. Repeat for all ten nails.

Method 2: Soft Measuring Tape

You’ll need: a soft measuring tape.

  1. Wrap the tape snugly over the widest part of the nail.
  2. Record the number of millimeters from sidewall to sidewall (where your nail meets the skin).
  3. Repeat for all ten nails.

How to Read the Size Chart

Measured at Home?

Note each nail’s width in millimeters. Use the chart below to find the matching size number E.g. 15mm = #2. Repeat for every nail.

You will end up with ten numbers E.g. Right Hand: 2,8,7,9,11 Left Hand: 2,8,7,9,11. In this case, you would be a size small. 

Used the Sizing Kit?

Each sample tip is already stamped with its size number. Simply reference your numbers compared to the standard sizes E.g. 1,7,6,7,10 = Medium

Note: It is normal if your sizes do not perfectly match the standard sizes. Instead of choosing a standard size a checkout, click "custom" and put your sizes E.g. 2,6,5,6,8  in the instruction box at check out or email them to me directly inspirednailsbyvic@aol.com
